Structural DTI installation for ASTM F959 and F959M DTIs, and other worldwide structural bolt and DTI standards.

Structural DTIs are installed in any one of three ways. (See illustration below). Method #1 is the preferred method as it ensures that movement of steel plies before tightening has not 'trapped' the bolt and impeded development of tension on the full length of the bolt as may occur with long bolts in large multiple connections.  With the new design DTI from TurnaSure, no hardened washer is required between DTI and nut. (Method #2).
